    1970s Glynn Hines ’73 was elected Fort Wayne City Council president in January 2023. He was selected to receive an Honorary Doctor of Humanities and speak at the undergraduate Commencement exercises in May 2023. Watch Video
  • Helen Taylor ’73 was the trivia caller on ABC’s “Live with Kelly and Ryan” show the morning of Friday, Feb. 10 where she won a trip to Mexico!
  • Stephen George ’74 was honored on April 20th with the Book of Golden Deeds Award in Middlebury, Ind. This award recognizes those who have made outstanding contributions or given outstanding service to the community. He has been a part of the Crystal Valley Exchange Club since 1980, helped start Middlebury’s baseball and T-ball program, assisted in set-up for the Middlebury Summer Festival, assisted the Middlebury Tree Board with trimming and clean up, been a 4-H Beef Club Leader for 29 years and served on Elkhart County’s 4-H Fair board for five years. Stephen also worked in the Middlebury Community Schools System for 38 years before retiring.
  • 1980s Harriet Hamer M.D. ’80 joined Manchester’s Board of Trustees.
  • 1990s Angela Harsh ’90 Miller was named superintendent of Caston School Corporation.
  • Heidi Doudt ’93 Ramer has published Her Words, My Voice, a book that merges her mother’s journal entries about her experiences of sexual and emotional trauma and Ramer’s own insight as a secondary survivor. Her mother, the late Karen Beery ’66 Doudt, was a member of the Manchester education faculty for six years.
  • Aaron Fetrow ’94 joined Manchester’s Board of Trustees.
  • Aaron Wolfe ’96 led his No. 1 ranked NorthWood Panthers to the IHSAA Class 3A Boys Basketball State Championship. It was NorthWood’s first-ever state appearance in boys basketball. He was also honored as the 2023 Bob King Coach of the Year by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association.
  • Craig Brouyette ’97 was named president of Pike Lumber Company in Akron, Ind.
  • Dustin Brown ’99 joined Manchester’s Board of Trustees.
  • 2000s Monica Ralston ’05 has been named the 2023 Northeast Indiana Remarkable Woman. She is director of the Mary Raber Montessori School in Columbia City, Ind.
  • Amanda Garner ’06 was selected for the Greater Fort Wayne Forty Under 40 Award.
  • Sarah Squires ’09 Schenkel was selected for the Greater Fort Wayne Forty Under 40 Award.
  • Tiffany Portz ’07 Makinson was awarded the Golden Hammer Awards Accountant of the Year for 2022.
  • Andrea Numbers ’07 graduated from Western University College of Dental Medicine in Pomona, Calif. with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in June 2020. She was awarded District Delegate of the Year in 2019 by the American Student Dental Association national delegation and served as the president of the Western University ASDA chapter in 2018-2019. She is currently chief resident at the University of Michigan Orofacial Pain & Dental Sleep Medicine Residency Program in Ann Arbor, Mich.

    Tiffany Berkebile ’10 Numbers and Andrea Numbers ’07 were married in Laguna Beach, Calif. on May 1, 2021. Tiffany was promoted to Learner Marketing Manager at InStride of Santa Monica, Calif. in 2021.
    Blake Moore ’18, an operations specialist in the Office of Admissions, has been selected to participate in the 2023 Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana (YLNI) Leadership Institute.
  • 2020s Alex Downard ’20 is leading implementation efforts of the Imagine One 85 initiative in Wabash County. Imagine One 85 is a plan to address and put an end to Wabash County’s population decline by following strategic initiatives involving housing, workforce development, early childhood schooling, rural broadband and diversity.
    Noah Tong ’20 is working as a business reporter in Iowa City.
  • Matt Vollmer ’20 was named to the spring 2023 cohort of Encounter NKY, a leadership program focusing on northern Kentucky and greater Cincinnati. Vollmer is pharmacogenomics (PGx) laboratory lead at Gravity Diagnostics in Covington, Kentucky.
  • Chloe Leckrone ’22 won third place in the News Story category from the Indiana Collegiate Press Association contest for “Out of State Suspects Arrested Near Campus over Winter Break,” which they wrote as a senior for the Oak Leaves student newspaper. Leckrone, communications specialist in Manchester’s Office of Strategic Communications, is co-editor of Manchester magazine.
