      1950s The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame recognized the late John Lozier ’57 for his contribution as a high school basketball official with the 2024 Men’s Center Circle Officials Award.
    • Shirley Ogle ’59 Willard recently published her new book, Fulton County, Indiana: The Luckiest County in the World.
    • 1960s Dick Harris ’68 was inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame. Dick played for Liberty Center High School where he currently holds the scoring record of 1,000 points, including a 9-overtime game against Swayzee in 1964. During his time at Manchester, he was named 4-time All Indiana College Athletic Conference, 3-time All NAIA District and All-American. He held 3 of the top 4 single-game best scoring efforts in school history and scored 2,643 points.
    • 1970s Margaret “Peggy” Shantz ’78 Owen is retiring at the end of the 2023-2024 school year after 45 years in education. Her career took place in Colorado, Ohio, Missouri and Kansas. Roughly half of those years were spent in elementary special education, and half in general education. For the past 17 years she has worked at Douglas County School District in Castle Rock, Colo., as an elementary special education teacher, and for the last nine years there, as an IEP and assessment specialist. She and her husband plan to retire to the Kansas City area.
    • 1980s Thomas Lower ’81 joined Manchester University’s Board of Trustees in January 2024.
    • Jeffrey Shoup ’84 is now director of housing and residence life and assistant dean of students at DePauw University.
    • Christopher Caldwell ’87 joined Manchester University’s Board of Trustees in January 2024.
    • Nancy “Nanci” Stickel ’87 Flores was a featured speaker at The League of Women Voters of the South Bend Area. Flores is the co-founder of One More Citizen Inc., which helps legal permanent residents prepare for their naturalization exam and interview.
    • 1990s Noah Smith ’94 joined Manchester University’s Board of Trustees in January 2024.
    • Tamara “Tami” Bradburn ’95 Hoagland was named to two NCAA Division III Advisory Groups.
    • 2000s James Scott ’03c was inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame as a member of their 2024 Men’s Silver Anniversary Team. Scott played for Elkhart Central High School.
    • Matthew “Matt” Cates ’06 was named National High School Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year.
    • 2010s Caleb Grimes ’10 was featured in an article in the Kalamazoo Gazette in January. Grimes is an attorney at Caleb Grimes Law, PLC in Portage, Mich.
    • Melissa Grinstead ’12 was promoted to associate vice president of corporate & foundation relations and remains campaign manager at Eastern Kentucky University.
    • Bridgette Banks ’17 MAT was named Atlanta Falcons Athletic Trainer of Year.
    • Mykayla Roskos-Neilson ’17 was recognized for the ISSMA Total Department All-Music Award. Roskos-Neilson is the music director at Fairfield High School.
    • Dakota Steele ’18 won the Sports Field Managers Association’s national contest. He currently works as groundskeeper for Fairfield Community Schools.
    • Jamie McBride ’19 began working at Camp Brethren Heights as the program and public relations director.
